Job Title: Local/City Delivery Driver

Shift: Sunrise 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM +2 Saturday’s a month 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Type: Full time

Position Description:

SouthPOINTE Radiator is hiring an individual to work as a Full-Time City Driver. This position involves the driving of a light duty van or pick-up and the daily pick up and delivery of product from numerous commercial and industrial customers.

City Drivers must pass a road test. Qualified applicants must have a valid Driver's License, issued by this state. Pick-Up & Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with our appearance policy.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age; and must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Applicants must meet the company mental and physical requirements; and must be physically and mentally able to safely perform the essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to the employee or co-workers.

Job Title: Parts Counter/Warehouse

Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Description:

The position of Parts Counter Sales/Warehouse is for the purpose of providing customer service to customers purchasing product and accessories while maintaining a positive store atmosphere and the accuracy of inventory. This position prepares customer invoices and handles cash/checks/credit cards, tracks and processes sales and returns, assists with receiving by verifying and stocking incoming deliveries, provides initial customer assistance regarding complaints/issues/concerns, complete inventory stock checks/stock adjustment requests, and any additional projects/tasks as requested.

Reports to: Store Manager

Duties:

1. Assist customers at the counter and through phone calls.
2. Assist with shipping and receiving as needed, including unloading/loading.
3. Read customer orders and process as needed
4. Complete invoicing of sales which includes cash drawer maintenance and cash/credit card handling,
5. Maintain warehouse/counter in an organized fashion so that product and information can be retrieved quickly and efficiently.
6. Assist Store Manager as needed with special projects or requests
7. Attend Annual Physical Inventory event (mandatory).
8. Make and receive calls from Distribution Manager, other Store Managers, Sales Team and execute requests in a timely manner
9. Complete inventory stock checks and initiate inventory adjustment requests.
10. Make and receive calls from Customers and provide information as needed (ie approx. delivery times) in a timely manner
11. Assist with picking orders as needed
12. Assist processing COD orders and payments
13. Request bin location corrections
14. Follow company objectives and core values
15. Assist in counting physical inventory
16. Unload/load truck deliveries utilizing material handling equipment including Hi-Lo.
17. Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as in a team; promote a positive work environment.

7. Valid Driver's License for the State of Michigan

SouthPOINTE Radiator is seeking an Account Representative (Outside Sales) for our Romulus, MI location. This is an opportunity for an experienced outside sales candidate to join a great team and a very successful company. Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer relationships are positive and deep within all accounts
  • Create materials for and conduct sales presentations to customers
  • Prospect for new customers
  • Ensure customer service requirements are met
  • May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on need
  • Generate new business with new or existing customers
  • Ensure technical requirements for the customer are met
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns
  • Routinely interacts face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction may handle customer returns

Job Title: Fabricator, Romulus, MI

Job Description:

If you are ready to work with a growing company on exciting projects at an industry leader than SouthPOINTE Radiator has an opportunity for you as a Fabricator, in Romulus, MI. Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who is well versed in all aspects of welding.   

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Checking customer drawings and work instructions for accuracy, quantities, revisions, etc.
  • Advising purchasing of any requirements for materials and/or components required to complete the job.
  • Making cut lists from drawings for saw, plasma and laser operators.
  • Fitting up and tack welding weldments.
  • Making jigs or fixtures for higher quantity orders.
  • Checking dimensions of assemblies or parts, overall quality, appearance, and soundness of welds. You will be responsible for the quality of all the projects you oversee

Requirements and Education:

  • To be successful in this role, a related technical degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Candidate MUST have experience welding in both TIG and MIG.   
  • Be able to estimate the duration of jobs
  • Machinist experience is a plus, experience with Mill/Horizontal and lathe CNC machines is a huge plus.
  • A passion for your work is a must!
