Job Title: Welder, Romulus, MI

Job Description:

If you are ready to work with a growing company on exciting projects at an industry leader then Southpointe Radiator has an opportunity for you as a Welder, in Romulus, MI.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Measuring, cutting, assembling, and welding of 3003 aluminum and 304 tubular stainless
  • Operating equipment including but not limited to: saws, drills, grinders/buffers, plasma cutters, MIG welder/torches, forklifts,  pallet jacks
  • Reading and interpreting team leader instructions and written orders
  • Repair customer equipment as required using the equipment previously listed
  • Meeting/exceeding customer requirements for production and quality
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure the proper function and performance of fabricated parts
  • Notify the supervisor when the item is complete and ready for inspection
  • Packaging/labeling items according to production guidelines
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Welding aluminum and steel using a TIG welder

Requirements and Education:

  • To be successful in this role, a related technical degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Operation of shop fabrication equipment is required. brake, shear, punch, roll, drill, saw, buff, end form and able to read print
  • Candidate MUST have experience welding in both TIG and MIG.
  • Be able to estimate the duration of jobs
  • Machinist experience is a plus, experience with Mill/Horizontal and lathe CNC machines is a huge plus.

Job Title: Local/City Delivery Driver

Shift: Sunrise 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM +2 Saturdays a month 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Type: Full-time and Part-time

Position Description:

Southpointe Radiator is hiring an individual to work as a Full-Time or  Part-Time City Driver. This position involves the driving of a light-duty van or pick-up and the daily pick-up and delivery of products from numerous commercial and industrial customers.

City Drivers must pass a road test. Qualified applicants must have a valid Driver’s License, issued by this state. Pick-Up & Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with our appearance policy.

Job Title: Outside Sales

Type: Full Time

Compensation:Salary + Commission

Job Description:

Southpointe Radiator is seeking an Account Representative (Outside Sales) for our Romulus, MI location. This is an opportunity for an experienced outside sales candidate to join a great team and a very successful company. Southpointe Radiator offers an excellent benefits package that includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer relationships are positive and deep within all accounts
  • Create materials for and conduct sales presentations to customers
  • Prospect for new customers
  • Ensure customer service requirements are met
  • May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on the need
  • Generate new business with new or existing customers
  • Ensure technical requirements for the customer are met
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers’ concerns
  • Routinely interacts face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction may handle customer returns
  • Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
  • Work with Manager to provide planning to reach product and sales goals
  • Personally accountable for time allocation and priorities to reach goals and applying efforts to high ROI opportunities
  • Maintain appropriate relationship with key suppliers

Qualifications

  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
  • Industry and sales experience
  • Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via email
  • Ability to multitask and manage time well
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems
  • Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good driving record
